HHV-6A, strain GS propagated in HSB-2 cells and purified by differential centrifugation. Virus pelleted through sucrose by ultracentrifugation. Recommended use: ELISA, Western blot. HHV-6GS purified virus was lysed with 0.25% Triton X-100 in TNE buffer. Protein Concentration is 0.5 mg/ml by Pierce BCA protein method using BSA standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different values.
