Mouse monoclonal antibody to HHV-8 virion-associated envelope glycoprotein, a late protein encoded by ORF K 8.1 A and K 8.1 B (K 8.1 A/B). Fusion proteins expressed in bacteria were 52-54 kDa and 48-50 kDa by ORF K 8.1 A and ORF K 8.1 B, respectively. This antibody originates from serum-free hybridoma cell culture medium and is purified by protein G agarose affinity chromatography.
