International Orders

Advanced Biotechnologies has an established network of international distributors to expedite product purchase, delivery, and service. For orders placed directly with Advanced Biotechnologies, the following guidelines will enable us to properly and efficiently process your order: Advanced Biotechnologies requires that an Acceptance of Responsibility for Receipt of Pathogenic Materials form be signed and returned to us prior to shipment of any biohazardous products. Orders should be faxed to +1 301-497-9773. When you place an order, we require the following information on a corporate letterhead or official purchase order:

  • Shipping name, address, telephone and fax numbers.
  • Billing name, address, telephone and fax numbers.
  • Export/import agent's name, address, telephone and fax numbers, name of nearest international airport.
  • Catalog number, quantity and product description.

For certain virus-containing preparations, tissue culture preparations, and animal or human blood or blood sera, we may be required to obtain a US Department of Commerce Export License (which will take 3 to 4 weeks).

Advanced Biotechnologies requires a minimum product order in the amount of $100. There is a special handling charge (containers, dry ice/refrigeration packaging, product documentation, etc.) of $110 for biohazardous shipments and $80 for non-biohazardous shipments.

Shipping

All items must be shipped via airfreight outside the contiguous USA. All Advanced Biotechnologies products are shipped FOB Columbia, MD, USA. Shipping costs are prepaid and added to the invoice. ABI reserves the right to select the packaging, shipping method, and airfreight carrier for your order, which will ensure the integrity of the product and efficient tracking. Upon receipt of your order and above-requested information, we will advise you of the total cost by fax.

Payment methods

If paying by wire transfer, please contact ABI. Advanced Biotechnologies accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Please advise us of the type of credit card, cardholder name, account number, and date of expiration. When your order is processed and ready for shipment, we will fax you (or your export/import agent) with the date and estimated time of arrival, the airline and flight number, and the air waybill number.
