Adenovirus-2 Infected Cell DNA
Family: Adenoviridae. Nonenveloped, double-stranded DNA virus.
DNA isolated from Ad-2 infected cells supplied at a concentration of 50 ng/µL cellular DNA in a volume of 100 µL.
This DNA is not suitable for quantitation.
Virus: Human Adenovirus Type 2 (Ad-2)
Virus Preparation: Virus infected Cells
Cell Line for Propagation: 293, human embryonic kidney
Suspending Buffer: 10 mM Tris, 1 mM EDTA, pH 8.0
DNA Quantitation: DNA concentration was determined by fluorometry using PicoGreen®.
PCR Analysis of DNA Control: PCR analysis was performed on infected cell DNA using the PE Biosystems GeneAmp® Gold PCR Reagent Kit and primers specific to the rex and tax genes of HTLV-I. The reaction produced a 138 bp fragment. The PCR product was visualized on a 1.0% agarose gel using EtBr staining.
*Note: Upon thawing, centrifuge the vial for a few seconds to remove residual droplets from the lid.
