Dengue-1 Hawaii Strain Purified Viral Lysate
Virus: Dengue-1, strain Hawaii
Virus Preparation: Cell culture-derived Dengue-1 virus
Final Fill Volume: Varies by lot
Suspending Buffer: Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS), pH 7.2
Functional Activity: [varies by lot] units*/mL using Dengue IgG positive and negative human plasma.
*A unit is defined as the reciprocal dilution of the purified antigen that gives an absorbance of 0.500 in our test system.
HA Titer: Varies by lot (prior to lysis)
Virus Particle Count: Varies by lot (prior to lysis)
Preparation of Lysate: Dengue purified virus was lysed with Triton X-100 added to a final concentration of 0.5%.
Protein Concentration: [varies by lot] mg/mL by Pierce BCA protein assay method using BSA standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different values.
Validation of Inactivation: This lot of viral lysate has been specifically tested for residual infectivity by cell culture-based assay, and no infectious virus was detected.
*Note: Upon thawing, centrifuge the vial for a few seconds to remove residual droplets from the lid.
