EBV P3HR1 Strain Viral Capsid Antigen, Immunoaffinity Purified
Sterility
ELISA: 500-1,500
Western blot
Protein Concentration Cell Line for Propagation: P3HR1
Presentation: 20mM Tris, 3M MgCl2, pH 8.0
Protein Concentration: Determined by Pierce BCA protein method using BSA standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different values.
Recommended Use: ELISA, Western blot. The use dilution of the antigen, for ELISA or WB, is to be determined by the end user depending on the assay system. For SDS/PAGE and Western blot assay, desalting and concentration of the antigen by centrifugal filter devices and dilution in buffer containing SDS (25 mM Tris, 192 mM Glycine, 0.1% SDS, pH 8.3) is recommended.
EBV Viral Capsid Antigen (VCA) gp125 is a late viral glycoprotein, encoded by BamH I A fragment of the EBV genome. EBV VCA was extracted from induced P3HR1 cells and was purified by immunoaffinity column chromatography.
