Product Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody to the transmembrane protein gp41 of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1). This antibody originates from ascites fluids and is purified by protein A agarose affinity chromatography.

Protein Concentration: Determined by BCA Assay using Bovine Gamma Globulin (BGG) as the standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different results.

Presentation: Purified IgG supplied in PBS, pH 7.4

Isotype: IgG1

Purity: 95% pure as estimated by analysis of Coomassie blue stained SDS-PAGE.

Functional Activity: Reactive with gp41 of a number of HIV-1 isolates, including HIV-1IIIB.  Reactive in ELISA and Western blot with HIV-1 lysate and in immunofluorescence assay.
