Product Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody to reverse transcriptase (p66/51) of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1). The antibody is known in the scientific literature as M33/6E4 (Science (1986) 231:1289). This antibody originates from ascites fluids and is purified by protein A Sepharose affinity chromatography.

Protein Concentration: Determined by BCA Assay using Bovine Gamma Globulin (BGG) as the standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different results.

Presentation: Purified IgG supplied in PBS, pH 7.4.

Isotype: IgG1

Purity: 95% pure as estimated by analysis of Coomassie blue stained SDS-PAGE.

Functional Activity: Reactive with p66/51 of a number of strains of HIV-1. Reacts with HIV-1IIIB reverse transcriptase in immunoblots (both p66/51).
