Product Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to the capsid protein p24 (gag) of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1). This antibody is supplied as neat hyperimmune serum from rabbit.

Immunogen: Immunoaffinity purified HIV-1IIIB p24 from infected HUT 78 cells.

Functional Activity: Broadly reactive with p24 of a number of HIV-1 isolates. Reactive in ELISA with a titer of greater than or equal to 100,000 with HIV-1IIIB viral lysate using purified HIV-1IIIB p24 and reactive in Western blot at a dilution of 1:5,000.

This product is shipped frozen on dry ice. Store at -20°C upon receipt. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles as product degradation may result.
