Product Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody to early phosphoprotein of human herpesvirus 6A and B (HHV-6A/B) with major specificity to p41, encoded by the U27 gene, and some interaction to p110 kDa. This antibody originates from cell culture serum-free medium and is purified by protein G agarose affinity chromatography.

Protein Concentration: [varies by lot] mg/mL determined by BCA Assay. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different results.

Presentation: Purified IgG supplied in PBS, pH 7.4 containing 0.01% Thimerosal.

Functional Activity: Reactive in immunofluorescence assay (IFA) with HHV-6A/B infected cells (nuclear fluorescence), immunoprecipitation of HHV-6 proteins p41 (major) and p110 (minor), Western blot, and ELISA. Reactive with DNA-binding protein of HHV-6.
