Product Description: Mouse MAb to the glycoprotein gp82/105 of HHV-6A originating from hybridoma cell culture supernatant and is concentrated by ultrafiltration. Reactive in IFA, immunoprecipitation and Western blot. Does not cross react with HHV-6B.

Hybridoma Clone: 2D6

Presentation: Concentrated hybridoma cell culture supernatant with 0.01% Thimerosal.

Isotype: IgG2b

IFA Titer: HHV-6AGS infected HSB-2 cells: reactive, titer >/= 1:512. HHV-6BZ29 infected Molt 3 cells: nonreactive.

Functional Activity: Immunoreactive with HHV-6AGS,U1102 protein gp82/gp105. Reactive with HHV-6A infected cells in IFA (cytoplasmic or whole cell fluorescence). Recognizes HHV-6A gp82/105 in immunoprecipitation and Western blot1. Does not cross react with HHV-6BZ29, DC, BA, OK 2,3.

Recommended Use: If used in conjunction with HHV-6A/B MAb gp116/gp64/gp54 (ABI Cat #13-218-100), this antibody can differentially identify type A or B of HHV-6 isolates and also be used to detect late protein expression in HHV-6A infected cells. Both antibodies can be used in IFA and/or IHC detection systems.
