Product Description: Soluble native p24 from the conditioned medium of HIV-1IIIB infected HUT 78 cells. The virus was inactivated by 0.5% Triton X-100. This native viral protein is purified by immunoaffinity chromatography using mouse monoclonal antibody to HIV-1IIIB p24 and HPLC.

Protein Concentration: [varies by lot] µg/mL determined by BCA protein assay using BSA standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different values.

Functional Activity: Immunoreactive in Western blot using monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies to HIV-1 p24, as well as HIV-1 antibody positive human sera.
