Quality Assurance for Virus Preparations

Quality Control (QC) testing is a critical part of ABI’s production process. Sterility and Mycoplasma testing is performed on every virus product.  Viral inactivation validated by in vitro infectivity assays.  Additional assays may be performed, including:

  • Infectivity Titer
  • Protein Concentration
  • Virus Particle Count by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)

Custom Virus Purification and Production

ABI employs experts in virology, mass cell culture, and centrifugal separation and purification to successfully propagate and purify our high-quality custom virus preparations. With a facility capable of accommodating from 10 to 600 liters of suspension cell culture and from 5 to 500 grams of cell pack for adherent cell cultures, ABI is well suited to offer a wide range of custom products and services to fit your needs.
